Candidate countries for organising the IMYB 2027 and IMYB 2028

Dear fellow beekeepers,
It is a great pleasure to inform you, that based on the call for organizers of IMYB for the year 2027 and 2028, we have 8 very interesting candidate countries!
This is proof of how prestigious the IMYB became and a result of great work of all the previous organizers who made the IMYB meetings unforgettable. I would like to thank in this regard especially to Zahira and her team who created a wonderful atmosphere for all the participants during the last IMYB in Dubai.
Now there is a difficult task ahead of us. Selection of organizers is a long-term process which requires verification whether the potential candidate has the financial and logistical background, suitable and sufficient space for all activities and, most importantly, the ability to organise the IMYB. Any future organizer must also be passionate about the fundamental ideas of the meetings mainly concerning support of young beekeepers. Among other things, we are also interested in organizing IMYB in different parts of the world to introduce different cultural conditions and differences in the way bees are kept.
We expect that the results will be announced by the end of this year. However, already now it is clear, that we can look forward to a great event and new adventures!
