Apimondia’s president Philip McCabe passed away

Dear fellow beekeepers and friends,

We are deeply saddened to report the passing of Philip McCabe on 20 October, 2018 after a long illness. Mr. McCabe served as the President of the International Beekeeping Federation, Apimondia and was a tireless supporter of beekeeping and beekeepers worldwide. At the same time, we lose a significant participant of the IMYB meetings and a great supporter of the international activities of young beekeepers.

May we offer our condolences to his family during this very difficult time.
