Foundation of European Beekeeping Association (EBA)

based on the initiative of the President of the Association of Beekeepers Slovenia Boštjan Noč.

was founded

EUROPEAN BEEKEEPING ASSOCIATION

These are mainly the following three main goals of the establishment of the European Beekeeping Association:

• The fight against fake honey that flooded the European market
• Fight for the introduction of special subsidies for the bee colony based on the contribution to the pollination of cultivated and non-cultivated plants and the improvement of ecology
• Fight against the incorrect use of pesticides toxic to bees

The ICYB – INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR YOUNG BEEKEEPERS (CZECH REPUBLIC) has confirmed that it is joining the European Beekeeping Association, as member.
